Flower Girls and Ring Bearers

Alison and Eli had the great honor of being flower girl and ring bearer for our niece Heather's wedding. Alison was looking forward to the event all spring, and as expected, acted every bit the part for the wedding. Eli has enjoyed getting into his tux and being "handsome!", but wasn't interested at all in rehearsing for the event.

Remarkably, when it came time to perform, Eli "turned on" and acted perfectly.





After the wedding, the kids were very excited for the reception. Heather and Jesse's wedding cake consisted of both a traditional cake and cupcakes for the rest of the attendees - the kids are all about cupcakes.



We couldn't get Eli out on the dance floor (remarkably) but Alison was more than happy to go out for the dollar dance.



I'm happy the pretty girl still has time for old dad.

My favorite picture of the night - Alison was off on her own, twirling to the music. It was getting late and she was wearing out and stopped for a moment.



They ran long and hard and neither was ready to walk back to the car at the end of the night. It used to be easier to carry them.
