Eli's learning the fine art of digesting Sports Illustrated. Really he's just a fan of paper products in general. He can get up on his knees and rock, but drops down and army crawls when he wants to go somewhere.
He's now got 4 teeth on the top and 2 on the bottom. As Grandpa Janes said - "He's like a slug. He just creeps along the ground and leaves a trail of slime wherever he goes." I can't disagree. Perhaps the drool acts as a lubricant for locomotion.
Alison is getting too smart for me. We were watching a David Attenborough documentary the other night and she was describing all the animals to me. Her pronunciation of flamingo is spot on. A little while later she asked, "Daddy, do you know what raccoons eat? Crabs!" And of course, she was right - she saw on the show a group of raccoons eating crabs.
I think her view of animals is a little different - she saw a school of fish on TV. I asked her if she thought they were pretty. She said yes, then hopped up and pointed to a fish on the screen. She turned to me and said "I like that one. I want to catch it and eat it because I really like fish!"

I can't believe how much they are growing. I love the family picture, too. I must say you guys make -31 look like fun.
