Roll With It, Baby

We went to Bismarck this weekend and Eli decided that he could roll over from his belly on to his back!
Alison went to children's church on Sunday morning and walked out with a little craft project. It was a piece of paper with a bible verse on it, glued to two pencils to look like a scroll. I asked her, "What did you learn about in children's church?"
And she very quickly responded, "Squirrels!"
Eh, close enough.

A Story By Alison

A Story By Alison...
Eli Likes me.
Eli cries a lot.
Eli likes to hug.
I love Eli.
That's all the things with Eli.
I want to see a picture of me now.
The end.

Fall

Halloween is almost here, and Alison's getting excited. We went to the Buffalo River Pumpkin Patch, and after much debate, Alison picked out the ideal pumpkin. OK, probably like 17 ideal pumpkins, but she finally got it narrowed down to this one.

We sat down to a lovely spaghetti dinner last night, and Alison sat down and frowned. "I want Spaghetti-os," she complained.
"Alison, look at this! If we move this piece of spaghetti around, you can have Spaghetti-S's! And here's a Spaghetti-I!"
Amazingly, she bought into it. She formed a lot of letters with her dinner in between bites. Finally she holds up a piece of pasta. It dangles in a loop between her fingers. She grins, and exclaims, "Look, it's a spaghetti uvula!" Ah, the random words that kids learn....

A little late to the party

Okay, so I'm supposed to be tech-savvy, but it's only taken how long to get a blog going? Oh well, here we go.

Stay tuned for infrequent updates!
