Building the Great Wall

Alison had her second-to-last skating lesson today, and she seemed to be doing a lot better with the snowplow stop. Last weekend we went skiing at Andes Tower Hills outside of Alexandria, MN, and she did very good at her skiing lesson. I think the "pizza stop" for skiing really helped with the skating stop.

After skating, we went through the drivethru at Caribou and grabbed a latte and a kid's cocoa, then stopped in at my office to take care of a couple of things - scripts run a lot better when you actually remember to start them.

When we got home, we had lunch then started to build a cardboard Great Wall. It was a kit we found on clearance, and Alison has had a blast putting it together and now coloring it. She actually seemed bothered that she had to stop coloring to go swimming at a hotel with Nancy and Curt. When we finally got home, Alison went right back to coloring.
