Oh yeah, that holiday post

I really did mean to get Christmas photos posted right away. I at least got them on Facebook, but forgot to post over here.



We had a quiet Christmas at home - a blizzard blew in which kept family from coming. We had the neighbors over to help destroy a prime rib, then spent the evening playing Wii.







It was a very high-energy holiday. We also got extremely wild and crazy for New Year's.



Eli is getting into the realism of Wii - apparently you need to take cover in a foxhole to properly play.

Goodbye Old Pup

Today the Janes family said farewell to a dear friend, companion, and protector. Our dog, Daisy Mae Janes, was put down after a valiant fight against arthritic hips and rapidly declining bodily functions. We thank God for allowing us to care for one of his dear creatures. She was truly one of a kind. We will miss you Daisy, and will forever have a patch of daisy flowers in our garden to remind us of all you meant to us.
